a slight change from a hockey fan
"Skates" does add a bit more texture. Nicely done.
Thank you, Marty and Ken. I truly appreciate your suggestions, but I like the gentler gliding and its alliteration with glass.
I thought of "skate," but it seemed too easy, and the feminine moon, in its slow arc, to me, glides. :-)
