In Wyoming where I grew up, it will be a couple more weeks before the ice recedes in the foothills and a couple more in the mountains.

i am in massachusetts outside boston, but our summer place is on a lake in maine near the canadian border. i have business interests in ne wyoming, too.

keep the poems coming! one of my favorites, btw, is "skein of birds."
